For round cable, featuring gold plated contacts for the best possible connection. Manufactured from a leader in the network cables industry, Make your network function to it's maximum potential
color | Low quality connector : connector color is not translucence |
Working time | Low quality Connector : the times of plugging and unplugging is short . Around 400 times will be broken . |
Working time | "U" is about the thickness of the Gold plating. The connector signal transmission quality based on the thickness of Gold |
Tool-Free Design
Uses a built-in locking mechanism (e.g., clips or sliding covers) to secure wire conductors, eliminating the need for specialized crimping tools.
Simplifies installation for on-site technicians or non-professional users.
Compatibility
Supports 22–26 AWG solid or stranded cables.
Works with standard Cat6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) or Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cables. Some models explicitly support STP (e.g., SOMI NETWORKS Cat6 STP Toolless Plug).
Performance Standards
Meets TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN50173-1 standards.
Ensures transmission performance up to Cat6 requirements (e.g., 250 MHz bandwidth, 1 Gbps data rate).
Durability
Gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts (e.g., 50µ inch gold plating) resist corrosion and ensure reliable connections over 200+ insertions.
High-impact polycarbonate (PC) housing provides durability against wear and tear.
Integrated Design
Some models (e.g., Premium Line Systems) feature a built-in T568A/B wiring diagram on the cover for error-free termination.
Temporary Network Setup: Quick LAN deployment for events, exhibitions, or conferences.
Home/Office Wiring: DIY patch cord creation for connecting routers, switches, or end devices.
Industrial Environments: Shielded variants (Cat6 STP Toolless Plugs) are suitable for areas with high electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Strip the Cable:
Remove ~1 inch (2.54 cm) of the outer jacket without damaging the insulation of the 8 conductors.
Arrange Wires:
Follow T568A or T568B wiring standards (e.g., T568B: orange-white, orange, green-white, blue, blue-white, green, brown-white, brown).
Trim Conductors:
Cut all wires to the same length (~0.5 inch) for uniform insertion into the plug.
Insert Wires:
Push the conductors firmly into the plug until they make full contact with the pins.
Secure the Plug:
Close the cover or slide the locking mechanism to secure the wires in place.
Wiring Consistency: Both ends of the cable must use the same standard (T568A or T568B) to ensure proper connectivity.
Avoid Wire Damage: Ensure no nicks or cuts on conductor insulation during stripping, as this can cause signal degradation.
Shielding (STP): For shielded plugs, ensure the drain wire or foil shield makes proper contact with the connector’s metal housing.
Testing: After termination, verify link integrity and performance (e.g., near-end crosstalk, return loss) using a cable tester.
